1) Advertisements: Tried and true, many technology companies make significant amounts of money through advertising. In fact, Meta makes substantially 97% of its revenue through selling ads. It's truly the new TV for younger generations. Google Adsense integrates through many technology platforms making it easy to set up ads on a website or online community.

2) Subscriptions: The holy grail of revenue, subscriptions help you focus your time and effort on your best customers, and also keep your acquisition costs at bay. Whenever offering a subscription, be sure to lay out what the customer gets and how the process works.

3) SaaS: Many, if not most technology products aren't physical. If your selling a service that adds value to your customers, you may want to take seriously the concept of software as a service {SaaS]. It's the transformation of a technological enhancement in the form of a continued service to your client. Leave it to the boss to figure out how you're going to parcel it all up, but you'll want to first think of what your clients actually want, and then work backwards from there.

4) Retail: Walmart, Target and Costco are all on the Forbes 500 list for a reason, they sell a very high volume of goods that Americans consume on a daily basis. If pitching the procurement officer down in Arkansas is not your thing, options like Shopify and Wix make selling a product relatively easy online.

5) Actually do something physical: I know it's hard to imagine but there are still people that actually do work with their hands. And damn I bet it feels good. Basic services ranging from household chores, to running errands, and landscaping are all services that desperately need a tech component.
